We will be hosting the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test on Wednesday,January 31st at 8am.  This is a FREE test to help students learn about career options in the civilian and military sectors.  While the military does use this to help them place students in the armed forces, it is not used solely for that purpose.  Taking the ASVAB is not in any way a commitment to the military.  Any student may take this test.  This test is used to assess a student's ability to learn new skills and is a predictor of success in training programs.  It tests General Science, Word Knowledge, Mathematics, Auto & Shop Information, Arithmetic reasoning, Paragraph comprehension, Electronics Information, and Mechanical comprehension.  Any student interested in taking the test should see their school counselor to register.
