Students Oppose Bill H-5266

Ponaganset Students Flood the RI State House
Posted on 02/28/2019
Wednesday, February 27th, three buses filled with nearly 200 PHS students flooded the RI State House to oppose Bill H-5266. This bill would have a negative impact on students all over RI.

We saw first hand what it means to be a Chieftain -- Ponaganset Pride!! Teachers, students, administration and parents coming together to fight for what is right.

"The mark of a great school is not one that locks its doors to keep kids inside; a truly great school is where the doors are open and students are free to leave, but choose not to."

Ken Wagner, Commissioner of Education

We will fight to keep Ponaganset doors open to all students because every child deserves an amazing education!
