National Spanish Honor Society

National Spanish Honor SocietyThe Spanish Honor Society was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953. Its purpose is to recognize students who have persevered and excelled in the study of the Spanish language and to promote Hispanic studies. To be eligible to be a member of this society, students must have maintained honors level grades in the advanced study of Spanish-Spanish III and IV.
