Lt. Governor's Entrepreneurship Challenge

Grades 9-12 are eligible to apply

3 Part Deadline: 

Friday, April 10, 2020, 8:00 PM: Deadline for students to apply by submitting their written business plans via e-mail to [email protected].

Tuesday, April 21, 2020: The Lt. Governor’s Office announces the top 5 students/student teams who will advance to the final competition. All participants will receive e-mail notification.

Saturday, May 2, 2020 10:00 AM: Top 5 students/student teams give their business pitches at the final competition. Location: New England Institute of Technology, 1 New England Tech Blvd. East Greenwich, RI

The Lt. Governor's Entrepreneurship Challenge is Rhode Island's first statewide business pitch competition for Rhode Island high school students, grades 9-12, aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting business ownership right here in the Ocean State. Through this program, high school students compete for thousands of dollars in scholarships to post-secondary institutions.
